Sentry Ceramic Water Purifier CF115W

Replaces the discontinued Doulton Sterasyl product - AquaSafe Part 21401. 

The Coldstream Sentry CF115W is a high-performance ceramic water filter designed to reduce bacteria, cysts and fine particles from drinking water. It is the ceramic filter now supplied by AquaSafe in place of the previously used Doulton Ceramic Sterasyl.

The Sentry has been independently tested using a Coldstream system to NSF/ANSI Standards 42, 53 and P231 for the reduction of listed contaminants. Testing demonstrates 99.9999% reduction of Klebsiella terrigena bacteria and 99.9% reduction of Cryptosporidium.

The ceramic filtration media also provides 99.9% reduction of Class 1 particles, including microplastics, making it an excellent option for drinking water filtration and applications where additional protection from microbiological contaminants is required.

Unlike carbon cartridges, the Sentry is a ceramic water purifier and is intended primarily for the reduction of bacteria, cysts and particles rather than chlorine, taste and odour. For applications requiring chemical or chlorine reduction, AquaSafe recommends pairing the Sentry with a suitable carbon filtration stage.

The cartridge has a rated capacity of 10,000 litres and a rated flow of 2.5 litres per minute. Coldstream recommends the cartridge be replaced at least every six months and checked for cleaning every few weeks in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.

The Coldstream Sentry is manufactured in the United Kingdom and is suitable for cold-water filtration applications.

Please note: The Coldstream Sentry CF115W replaces the Doulton Ceramic Sterasyl previously supplied by AquaSafe.
