Bench Top or Counter Top Water Filters are a simple, easy to install unit; ideal for those who rent or want a portable water filter. The perfect home water system to preserve bench space.
The system arrives complete, ready to install. All you need to do is unscrew the aerator off your kitchen spout and screw on the diverter valve as shown in picture below. Place the filter on the bench with the spout overhanging the sink and turn on the cold water. Turn the diverter valve lever and purified water will flow out the filter spout.
Aqua Safe Premium Quality Systems use high pressure filter housings with a rating of 865 kPa enabling you to convert the system into an under bench water filter at a later date, if required. Simply purchase a conversion kit when you are ready. The filter housings are Australian Standards 3497 Watermark approved and we only use high quality chrome compression fittings on the inlet, outlet and diverter valve.Are benchtop water filters worth it?
There are many benefits of installing a benchtop water filter in your home. Benchtop water filters typically work by being attached to an existing faucet, without the need for plumbing modification, making them both easy to install and use. The benchtop water filter system also features a compact design that makes it suitable for those with limited space, like renters or employers seeking a filter for their workplace kitchen.
Additionally, a countertop water filter is a cost-effective and environmentally-friendly alternative to purchasing bottled water, as plastic can take thousands of years to biodegrade. Contrary to popular belief, bottled water can also be contaminated, meaning that water filters are the only genuine method of obtaining entirely clean drinking water. Things like glass particles and mould have previously been found in bottled water, and as plastic bottles can toxins, the water can also be unsanitary.
We have a large range of benchtop filter cartridges available for most systems to suit just about every application or requirement. All cartridges are made from coconut carbon, all remove chlorine, some remove heavy metals and bacterial cysts such as Cryptosporidium and Giardia and most if not all are NSF certified materials or certified to the applicable NSF/ ANSI Standard 42, 51, 53, 58 or 61.
