  • This US made 5 micron GAC (Granular Activated Carbon) filter contains carbon for chlorine, chloramines, chemicals, taste and odour reduction along with Polyphosphate for protection of equipment; boilers, coffee machines etc against hardness contained in the water. Water hardness can quickly build up and destroy equipment. This 10” filter cartridge is Tested and Certified by NSF International against NSF/ANSI Standard 42 for material requirements only. It will fit in standard 10” housings/ filters systems. Made by Omnipure it has a rated capacity of 19,000 litres with a maximum hardness level of 120 ppm.
