Testing demonstrates 99.9999% reduction of Klebsiella terrigena bacteria and 99.9% reduction of Cryptosporidium. \u003cspan class=\"contents\"\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e \u003cspan class=\"contents\"\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe ceramic filtration media also provides 99.9% reduction of Class 1 particles, including microplastics, making it an excellent option for drinking water filtration and applications where additional protection from microbiological contaminants is required. \u003cspan class=\"contents\"\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eUnlike carbon cartridges, the Sentry is a ceramic water purifier and is intended primarily for the reduction of bacteria, cysts and particles rather than chlorine, taste and odour. For applications requiring chemical or chlorine reduction, AquaSafe recommends pairing the Sentry with a suitable carbon filtration stage.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe cartridge has a rated capacity of 10,000 litres and a rated flow of 2.5 litres per minute.
